Everything you Need to Know About Ordering a Custom Favourite Things Print
How to Choose Items for Your Personalised Print
Creating a personalised print that reflects your unique interests or those of your loved ones should be a joyful and exciting process! To help you get started, head to the Singles page to check out and preview the items that are available to add to your personalised print. You can also click here to see all the options in a handy list (including some that aren’t yet available as single prints).
Here are a few tips to help you choose the perfect collection of items for your custom favourite things illustration:
Reflect on Your Passions
Think about what brings you joy. Are you a foodie? A cinema buff? Or perhaps you have a favourite hobby? Jot down your top interests to create a great foundation for your design.
Celebrate the Little Things
Consider incorporating everyday items that make you smile. It could be your favourite snack, a cherished piece of clothing, or something as simple as a good cup of tea. These "little things" add character and meaning to your artwork.
Think About Aesthetic
Imagine how the items will look together once illustrated. Choosing items with varying shapes, sizes, and colours can create a visually dynamic piece, making your print even more striking.
Involve Others
If it’s a gift for someone special, involve them in the process using your TOP spy skills. Casually ask them about their favourite things or memorable experiences to ensure the print resonates with their personality. If you’re treatng yourself, sometimes I also find that the people I live with know more about me that I knew about myself!
Ordering Instructions - Don’t Panic!
Now that you have a better idea of what you’d like on your print, you’ll want to head to the Little Things Posters page of the Shop and select your chosen size. The small size is best for a little desk print but I’d reccomend medium - XL if you’re after some wall art.

Select from the dropdown box if you’d like to add a custom item. These are priced at £35 each and are for extra special little things that aren’t on the cataloge and so will require me to design and illustrate this for you. You can add a maximum of two to each order.
When you click ‘Choose My Little Things’, a dialogue box will pop up so that you can pick your favourite things from the dropdown boxes. The number of designs you must select is dependent on the size poster and are indicated by * on the form. After the minimum, you can continue to add extra or leave these as ‘no selection’ for a smaller total.
In the ‘Special Requests’ box, please add any/all of the following details:
Item colour changes - for example ‘brown Birkenstocks’ and I will do my best to accomodate.
Personalised named items including pet bowls, beds, collars & bones, teacher names etc.
If you have chosen ‘books’, please add the names of 5 books you’d like me to personlaise for free. If you don’t enter these, they will be a blank stack of books.
If you have chosen ‘backpacking’, ‘suitcase (modern)’ or ‘suitcase (old)’, please specify any sepcific country badges you’d like added.
Any other details which I may or may not be able to incorporate such as records on the record player.
If and ONLY if you selected ‘One additional custom design’ or ‘two additional custom designs’ on the product page, add the details for this here. I’m open to any ideas except for portraits, sorry!
If you’d like me to incorporate a colour scheme (I hear you, you want your design to match your living room aesthetic), there is a box for this at the bottom of the form. Again, I will do my best but some items cannot be changed - no one wants to see a pink avocado, sorry.
It’s as easy as that.
See, told you it’s not as complicated as it first seems! Just follow the steps along and you’ll be able to ensure I can create you a beautiful piece of art that captures all of your favourite little things. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me or check out the help page for FAQs. Happy choosing!
